Day 1: Arrival at León
The starting point will be the first accommodation in León. It will be a day to relax and get ready to cycle the second part of the Camino de Santiago from León.
Day 2: León – Astorga 53 km
After breakfast and with the final goal in Santiago, we will leave León on our way to Santo Toribio, from where we will be able to see Astorga in a beautiful panoramic view.
Day 3: Astorga – Ponferrada 55km
After a good breakfast we will set off towards the Cruz de Ferro through a beautiful ascent.
The Cruz de Ferro is the highest point of the French Camino de Santiago, at an altitude of 1,550m.
After a well-deserved rest, we will overcome the Montes de León to go down through a beautiful landscape to the valley of Bierzo and Ponferrada.
Day 4: Ponferrada – O Cebreiro 54km
In today’s stage Ponferrada will bid us farewell among vineyards to reach the valley of the river Valcarce. During this stretch we will have to have the camera at hand, as the scenery is worth photographing.
We will leave behind the last villages of León before entering Galicia, pedaling through an ascending mountainous terrain.
Today the end of the stage is in an old village of pallozas, O Cebreiro.
Day 5: O Cebreiro – Portomarín 61km
Today we will cycle through an undulating terrain through a beautiful green landscape, typical of Galicia.
We will descend from O Cebreiro to Triacastela and Sarria through lush forests that will allow us to enjoy the environment in a unique way.
You will cycle through picturesque hills and rural roads to reach Portomarín, on the banks of the river Miño.
Day 6: Portomarín – Arzúa 55km
Another fabulous stage through the beautiful Galicia. Today on mountain trails, we will pass through the Ligonde Mountain to Palas de Rei by an easy route to go to Melinde. Here it is a must to taste the typical octopus.
From here, after tasting the octopus… we will go to Ribadiso, a beautiful place in the middle of nature.
In the few remaining kilometers to Arzúa, we will cycle through a typical Galician landscape full of hills and small picturesque villages.
Day 7: Arzía – Santiago de Compostela 40 km
Today is the big day, we will reach Santiago from Arzúa through trails between meadows and trees.
The moment of arriving at Monte do Gozo and seeing the towers of the Cathedral of Santiago will remain engraved in your memory.
After several stages with the goal of completing the Camino de Santiago by bike, the end of the road is near.
There will be nothing left to reach the Plaza del Obradoiro in Santiago de Compostela.
Day 8: Breakfast and end of the trip
After a nice breakfast the tour will be deemed finished.

Is it possible to rent a bike?
Yes, this trip can be done with either your bike or ours. You can choose it during the booking process, hybrid or electric mountain bikes are available.
Is the daily luggage transfer between accommodations included?
Yes, every day we will take your luggage to the next hotel. You only have to leave it at the reception desk, and we will take care of everything. Normally it will already be at the hotel when you arrive.
Is it possible to cancel?
We want to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, in case of unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to change the dates of the trip free of charge so that you can travel within the same year, as long as you let us know at least 3 weeks in advance.
And if your plans change and you want to cancel the trip before the start date, the following handling fees will apply:
– with more than 30 days, the management fees will be 20% of the amount of the trip.
– between 30 and 15 days, the handling fee will be 50% of the amount of the trip.
– with less than 14 days, the amount to be paid will be 100% of the amount of the trip.

Are there roads?
Practically the entire trip is on Vias Verdes, tracks or asphalt roads. If you make the stage to Valencia, there are a few kilometers of link that are made by road where you should drive with caution.
