Details of the Danube by bike trip

Traveling along the Danube by one of the first cycling routes in Europe.

From its source in Germany, pedaling along the banks of this river we have the possibility of visiting the heart of Europe and its heritage through several of the most important capitals such as Passau, Vienna, Bratislava or Budapest.

Although the Danube can be cycled practically in its entirety, from Donaueschingen to its start at the Black Sea in Romania, the most common sections are these four:

Donaueschingen – Donauwörth.

From the source in Germany near the Black Forest.

Donauwörth – Passau

Follows the Danube through Bavaria

Passau – Vienna

This is the section best known for the beauty of the scenery.

Vienna – Budapest

Cycle through Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.

We propose you to travel along the Danube by bike in a comfortable way, with everything organized and with the only task of enjoying pedaling.

Choose the section of the Danube that best suits you and get to know this classic bike trip through Europe.
