Day 1: Arrival in Alberobello

A relaxing day to enjoy Alberobello, a unique and inimitable town. It is the only urban settlement in the world made up of trulli (conical buildings) and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.

Day 2: Alberobello – Ostuni (45 km | 355 m+)

Cycle through the countryside to Ostuni, considered an architectural gem and known as “the White City” for its whitewashed walls and characteristic white-painted architecture.

Day 3: Ostuni – Manduria area (60 km | 270 m+)

Today you leave Ostuni and the Murge hills to pedal across the Salento plain, characterized by its green olive trees and reddish soil. Along the way, you can visit Oria, with its beautiful historic center and the castle built by Emperor Frederick II. Today’s destination is the Manduria area, capital of the Primitivo grape.

Day 4: Manduria area – Gallipoli (70 km | 350 m+)

From here, you’ll head toward the coast, cycling past ancient coastal towers and fine sandy beaches. You will reach Porto Cesareo, where we recommend enjoying a delicious seafood lunch. Continuing south, the destination is Greek Kale Polis—today’s Gallipoli—home to one of the most beautiful historic centers in Salento. Enjoy a walk through its streets and the stunning sea views.

Day 5: Gallipoli – Santa Maria di Leuca (50 km | 215 m+)

Cycling along the coast, you reach Santa Maria di Leuca. Its name was given by ancient Greek sailors coming from the East, who saw the sunlit location and called it “leukos”, meaning white. Today, it is a famous coastal resort.

Day 6: Santa Maria di Leuca – Otranto (50 km | 615 m+)

Today you cycle north along the Adriatic coast to Otranto, the easternmost point of Italy. Here, you can visit the beautiful cathedral and the impressive Aragonese castle.

Day 7: Otranto – Lecce (55 km | 220 m+)

Passing the Alimini lakes and their unique Mediterranean scrub, you enter Lecce. Thanks to its Baroque architecture, the city is often called the “Florence of the South.”

Cyclist comfort is always a priority, and all properties are personally inspected by our team. Accommodation includes 1–4 star hotels, 1–3 star guesthouses, and rural tourism stays, always in private rooms with a bathroom.

I am only one person, can I still book?

Yes, you can book as a single traveler.

Is it possible to rent a bike?

Yes, this trip can be done with either your bike or ours. You can choose it during the booking process, hybrid or electric mountain bikes are available.

Is the daily luggage transfer between accommodations included?

Yes, every day we will take your luggage to the next hotel. You only have to leave it at the reception desk, and we will take care of everything. Normally it will already be at the hotel when you arrive.

Is it possible to cancel?

We want to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, in case of unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to change the dates of the trip free of charge so that you can travel within the same year, as long as you let us know at least 3 weeks in advance.

And if your plans change and you want to cancel the trip before the start date, the following handling fees will apply:

– With more than 30 days, the management fees will be 20% of the amount of the trip.

– between 30 and 15 days, the handling fee will be 50% of the amount of the trip.

– with less than 14 days, the amount to be paid will be 100% of the amount of the trip.

In order to have more flexibility, we recommend taking out travel, assistance, CR and cancellation insurance. Check with us the conditions. Please note that the price of the insurance is not refunded once contracted in case of cancellation or modification.
