Route of the Sun by Bike Verona to Bologna – EuroVelo 7

A cultural journey through northern Italy following the Sun Route (EuroVelo 7).
Mostly flat terrain on secondary roads and cycle paths.
Día 1 : Llegada a Verona:
Llegada individual a Verona, bienvenida y ajuste de bicicletas
Día 2: Verona-Peschiera del Garda 38km
Saldrás de Verona en bicicleta hacia el oeste por un carril bici que bordea un canal.
Una vez en las colinas, te dirigirás a Peschiera del Garda pedaleando por carreteras rurales rodeadas de viñedos y olivares.
Día 3: Peschiera del Garda – Mantua 47 km
La ruta discurre por un tranquilo carril bici que bordea el plácido y esmeralda río Mincio. Descubre Borghetto sul Mincio, con sus molinos de agua presididos por un castillo medieval. El destino de la etapa es Mantua, una encantadora ciudad rodeada por tres lagos.
Día 4: Mantua-Ostiglia 42 km
Desde Mantua pronto te adentrarás en el campo, entre canales y campos cultivados. Governolo, a mitad de camino del destino, es un buen lugar para tomar un café. A continuación, bordeando el río Po, llegarás a Ostiglia, una ciudad sencilla y trabajadora que creció a lo largo del río.
Día 5: Ostiglia-Mirandola 48 km
Al cruzar el puente sobre el Po, encontrarás el casco antiguo de Revere,con un hermoso Palacio Ducal.Ahora seguirás el sinuoso curso del río Secchia.Al pasar por las calles de la localidad de Concordia, aún se pueden ver las heridas causadas por el terremoto de 2012. Destino final de hoy: Mirandola, lugar de nacimiento de Giovanni Pico dei Conti della Mirandola, filósofo italiano del siglo XV.
Día 6: Mirandola- San Giovanni in Persiceto 41 km
La ruta llega finalmente al tramo de la Ciclovía del Sole, recientemente construido sobre una vía férrea en desuso. Atravesarás San Felice sul Panaro, Crevalcore y llegarás a San Giovanni in Persiceto, con una pequeña plaza con espléndidos murales y una antigua tradición carnavalesca.
Día 7: San Giovanni in Persiceto-Bolonia 36 km
A solo unos kilómetros de Bolonia! Es la rica ciudad de los mil pórticos, las torres altísimas, la antigua universidad, la cocina famosa y sabrosa, y mucho más que ver.

The accommodations on this cycling trip have been selected for their quality and location, as close to the route as possible. Cyclist comfort is always a priority, and all properties are personally inspected by our team. Accommodation is in 3-star hotels or equivalent.
I am only one person, can I still book?
Yes, you can book as a single traveler.
Is it possible to rent a bike?
Yes, this trip can be done with either your bike or ours. You can choose it during the booking process, hybrid or electric mountain bikes are available.
Is the daily luggage transfer between accommodations included?
Yes, every day we will take your luggage to the next hotel. You only have to leave it at the reception desk, and we will take care of everything. Normally it will already be at the hotel when you arrive.
Is it possible to cancel?
We want to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, in case of unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to change the dates of the trip free of charge so that you can travel within the same year, as long as you let us know at least 3 weeks in advance.
And if your plans change and you want to cancel the trip before the start date, the following handling fees will apply:
– With more than 30 days, the management fees will be 20% of the amount of the trip.
– between 30 and 15 days, the handling fee will be 50% of the amount of the trip.
– with less than 14 days, the amount to be paid will be 100% of the amount of the trip.
In order to have more flexibility, we recommend taking out travel, assistance, CR and cancellation insurance. Check with us the conditions. Please note that the price of the insurance is not refunded once contracted in case of cancellation or modification.
