This trip, called Peregrino Greenway, runs along the Northwest Greenway, taking advantage of the old railroad line. A region of great forest landscapes and rural environment. Starting from the orchards of Murcia to the Holy City of Caravaca and many other charming villages full of culture and history.
The route runs along the Greenway as well as local roads and rural roads through villages such as Molina de Segura, Campos del Rio, Albudeite, Mula, Pliego, Bullas, Cehegin and Caravaca de la Cruz.
A cycling route of 7 stages along the Northeast Greenway that will not fail to surprise you. Paths, roads, villages and a landscape of abundant orchards, almond and orange trees and cultural heritage.

Day 1: Arrival at Murcia
Day of relaxation and preparation for the route along the greenway of the pilgrim. You can visit the city of Murcia with great historical monuments such as the Cathedral or the sanctuary of Fuensanta.
Day 2: Murcia-Mula 54km
We will leave Murcia by the Vía Amable de la Nora through quiet roads and crossing the Murcian huerta to Contraparada. We will continue along the Noreste de Mula Greenway, an arid landscape. At the end of the stage you will cross a rocky crag overlooking the town of Mula.
Day 3: Mula-Mula 31km
Today we will ride through the huerta of Mula to Pliego. Through a landscape of orange trees, almond trees and irrigation ditches. Visiting the castle at the Calle del Agua is something you can not miss.
Day 4: Mula-Caravaca de la Cruz 45km
Along the Greenway you will pedal through viaducts and tunnels through the Comarca del Noroeste. The area of Bulla is known for its winemaking activity and wineries. Following the stage you will visit the old town of Cehegín, declared a Historic Site. Entering the valley of the Argos River, with a landscape of extensive carnations and flowers that give color to the quiet valley.
Day 5: Caravaca-Caravaca 48km
Today we will depart to Moratalla, through beautiful almond and olive groves. In Moratalla the views of its fortress and the panoramic view of the Sierras del Molino and Ricote will make your journey unique.
Day 6: Caravaca-Caravaca 49km
Today will be the last day of the tour through a rural and natural environment such as Caravaca. Among irrigation ditches and elm trees, we will pedal past Roman and Christian sanctuaries and other unique places where traces of Paleolithic, Argaric, Iberian, Roman and medieval settlements coexist. Overnight in a rural guesthouse.
Day 7: End of the trip
After a nice breakfast the tour will be deemed finished.

During the different stages you will be immersed in a changing landscape. Arid landscape, the orchard of Murcia, the fruit forests with almond trees, orange trees and vineyards. But in addition to this natural wealth what predominates in this region is its great historical heritage and culture. Villages with beautiful medieval neighborhoods, the cathedral of Murcia and the Sanctuary of the Vera Cruz, are essential to visit on your cycling route.
The accommodations for this trip have been selected for their quality and location, as close as possible to the route. Always valuing the comfort when arriving with the bike and inspected by our team. They are 3-4 star hotels and rural tourism accommodation, always in private rooms with bathroom and good food!

Yes, you can book as a single traveler.
Is it possible to rent a bike?
Yes, this trip can be done with either your bike or ours. You can choose it during the booking process, hybrid or electric mountain bikes are available.
Is the daily luggage transfer between accommodations included?
Yes, every day we will take your luggage to the next hotel. You only have to leave it at the reception desk, and we will take care of everything. Normally it will already be at the hotel when you arrive.
Is it possible to cancel?
We want to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, in case of unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to change the dates of the trip free of charge so that you can travel within the same year, as long as you let us know at least 3 weeks in advance.
And if your plans change and you want to cancel the trip before the start date, the following handling fees will apply:
– with more than 30 days, the management fees will be 20% of the amount of the trip.
– between 30 and 15 days, the handling fee will be 50% of the amount of the trip.
– with less than 14 days, the amount to be paid will be 100% of the amount of the trip.
