Do you dare to know Switzerland?
The first stage will be a beautiful circular route through the lake in the Magadino area. We will go in the direction of Locarno through small forests and agricultural areas until we reach the walled city of Bellinzona.
The city is full of castles, squares and old walls where we can rest and have a drink. Then we will return to Losone through idyllic villages that lie next to the lake.
The second day will be a complete stage awaiting us where we discover Ascona and its small picturesque roads up to the Centovalli Valley. We can go by boat to the island of Brissago and visit the botanical garden.
We will pass through quiet villages before returning to Losone by a small easy and pleasant path.
Today we will visit the Maggia River, which runs through the Alps for more than 50 km before flowing into Lake Maggiore. The Monte Brolla waterfall is well worth a visit before reaching the pretty town of Maggia.
The last stage of the journey is also special. We will arrive by train to Melide to visit Lake Lugano full of beauty and character with a climate similar to that of the Mediterranean where there are good temperatures throughout the year.
The villages around the lake are a cluster of medieval churches, art galleries, museums, parks and gardens steeped in history.
