Itinerary through the trip southern Switzerland by bike

Day 1: Accommodation in LosoneArrival at the meeting point

Day 2: Losone – Bellinzona – Losone55 km

The first stage will be a beautiful circular route through the lake in the Magadino area. We will go in the direction of Locarno through small forests and agricultural areas until we reach the walled city of Bellinzona.

The city is full of castles, squares and old walls where we can rest and have a drink. Then we will return to Losone through idyllic villages that lie next to the lake.

Day 3: Circular route through Ascona and excursion to the island of Brissago25 km

The second day will be a complete stage awaiting us where we discover Ascona and its small picturesque roads up to the Centovalli Valley. We can go by boat to the island of Brissago and visit the botanical garden.

We will pass through quiet villages before returning to Losone by a small easy and pleasant path.

Day 4: Visit the Maggia Valley30 km

Today we will visit the Maggia River, which runs through the Alps for more than 50 km before flowing into Lake Maggiore. The Monte Brolla waterfall is well worth a visit before reaching the pretty town of Maggia.

Day 5: Excursion to Lugano35 km

The last stage of the journey is also special. We will arrive by train to Melide to visit Lake Lugano full of beauty and character with a climate similar to that of the Mediterranean where there are good temperatures throughout the year.

The villages around the lake are a cluster of medieval churches, art galleries, museums, parks and gardens steeped in history.

Specially selected hotels, there is the option of choosing accommodation in the 4 * Albergo hotel or the 3 * Parkhotel Emmaus.

No, a minimum of two people is needed to book this tour

Can I rent a bike?

Yes, a fully equiped bike is available for rent. You can select during the booking process.

Is the daily luggage transfer between the accommodations included?

Yes, every day we will take your luggage to the next hotel. You just have to leave it at reception, and we take care of everything. Usually it will already be at the hotel when you arrive.

Can I cancel the booking?

We want to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, in the event of an unforeseen event, we will do our best to change the dates of the trip at no cost so that you can travel within the same year.

And if your plans change and you want to cancel the trip before the start date, the following management fees will apply:

• With more than 30 days, the management costs will be 20% of the amount of the trip.
• Between 30 and 15 days, the management costs will be 50% of the amount of the trip
• With less than 14 days, the amount to be paid will be 100% of the amount of the trip.

To have more flexibility, we recommend contracting travel, assistance, CR and cancellation insurance with which the trip can be canceled up to 24 hours before the start date with a 10% franchise. Check with us the conditions. Keep in mind that the price of the insurance is not refunded once contracted in case of cancellation or modification.
