We are facing a classic bike trip to the center of Europe, which borders Lake Constance by bike pedaling through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

During the tour, the most important cities on the lake are visited: Stein am Rhein, Meersburg and Lindau and the city of Bregenz.

It is an easy and bearable bike trip in which there are no complicated climbs or roads with traffic. Most of the route is by bike lane. So if you like to cycle occasionally, you are going to love this Lake Constance bike trip.

Itinerary of the trip: Lake Constanza by bike

Day 1: Individual arrival in Constance / KreuzlingenArrival at meeting point

Day 2: Constance - Gailingen / Stein am Rheino/ Wangen aprox 30 / 40 km

After a good breakfast, we will start the trip along the southern coast of Switzerland in Untersee, seeing many typical villages in the area.

Afterwards, we will continue along the Höri peninsula to Stein am Rhein, full of curious houses adorned with frescoes. You will love the scenery today.

Day 3: Stein am Rhein - Überlingen45 – 60 km

In the second stage, we will continue exploring the romantic Höri peninsula. And it is that, for something the famous painter Otto Dix and the well-known author Hermann Hesse considered this place their home.

When you arrive in the imperial city of Radolfzell, you’d better take some time to rest and tackle the only major uphill of the trip. It will be after crossing Bodanrück and there will be no more climbs on the trip!

Day 4: Überlingen - Lindau 60 km

During the first part of the stage we will discover fabulous vineyards that will keep us company during the pedaling. We will also see the baroque church of Birnau and the medieval town of Meersburg, where a visit to the castle is recommended. In the city of Friedrichshafen, the curious “Zeppelin Museum” is worth a visit before continuing to cycle through various vegetable plantations to Kressbronn.

Day 5: Lindau - Arbon50 km

After breakfast, today he will take us to Bregenz in Austria, known worldwide for its festival that takes place on the largest floating stage in the world.

After passing Höchst, we will cross the border to reach today’s destination.

Day 6: Arbon – Constance 35 km

Today will be the last day of cycling on Lake Constance. We will arrive at Romanshorn, and we will go to Constance through numerous villages with very curious wooden houses.

To finish, we recommend getting lost in the streets of Constanza, visiting the old town and eating an ice cream next to the port …

Can I rent a bike?

Yes, a fully equiped bike is available for rent. You can select during the booking process.

Is the daily luggage transfer between the accommodations included?

Yes, every day we will take your luggage to the next hotel. You just have to leave it at reception, and we take care of everything. Usually it will already be at the hotel when you arrive.

Can I cancel the booking?

We want to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, in the event of an unforeseen event, we will do our best to change the dates of the trip at no cost so that you can travel within the same year.

And if your plans change and you want to cancel the trip before the start date, the following management fees will apply:

• With more than 30 days, the management costs will be 20% of the amount of the trip.
• Between 30 and 15 days, the management costs will be 50% of the amount of the trip
• With less than 14 days, the amount to be paid will be 100% of the amount of the trip.

To have more flexibility, we recommend contracting travel, assistance, CR and cancellation insurance with which the trip can be canceled up to 24 hours before the start date with a 10% franchise. Check with us the conditions. Keep in mind that the price of the insurance is not refunded once contracted in case of cancellation or modification.
