Are you up for it?
Day 1: Arrival at Constance/Kreuzlingen
Today will be a day to get to the starting point. Relaxing day to get to know the city and rest before the adventure.
Day 2: Constance – Gailingen / Stein am Rhein / Wangen approx. 30 / 40 km
After a hearty breakfast, we will begin our journey along the southern coast of Switzerland in Untersee, seeing numerous typical villages of the area.
Afterwards, we will drive along the Höri peninsula to Stein am Rhein, full of curious houses adorned with frescoes. You will love the scenery today. Depending on where your accommodation is finally located, you may have to cross the border again.
Day 3: Gailingen – Ludwigshafen / Sipplingen / Überlingen, aprox. 40 – 60 km
In the second stage, we will continue exploring the romantic Höri peninsula. The famous painter Otto Dix and the well-known author Hermann Hesse considered this place their home for a reason.
Arriving at the imperial city of Radolfzell, you’d better take some time to rest and face the only major uphill of the trip. It will be after crossing Bodanrück and there will be no more climbing on the trip!
Day 4: Überlingen – Kressbronn / Nonnenhorn / Lindau, aprox. 50 – 60 km
During the first part of the stage we will discover fabulous vineyards that will keep us company while pedaling. We will also see the baroque church of Birnau and the medieval town of Meersburg, where we recommend visiting the castle. In the city of Friedrichshafen it is worth visiting the curious “Zeppelin Museum” before we continue pedaling through plantations of various vegetables to Kressbronn or Lindau.
