Fantastic trip to know the northeast of Italy. Departing from Lago di Garda by bike, you will have the opportunity to cycle around one of the most beautiful lakes in northern Italy.

The bike trip passes through many picturesque villages typical of this Alpine area of northern Italy, with a lot of history and a truly amazing natural beauty. You will also pedal along a bike path around Lake Garda, which will leave you speechless.

Along the way, you will see castles and medieval towns, cities of art and beautiful landscapes.

Do you dare to get to know the northeast of Italy by bike?

Day 1: Arrival at the first hotel in Bussolengo

Today will be a day to get to the starting point. You will have time to get to know the city and relax before you start pedaling.

Day 2: Circular route Verona 40km

During this first stage, you will cycle along the Adige river to Verona. A mountainous landscape of the Venetian pre-Alps will accompany you until you reach the romantic city of Romeo and Juliet.

Verona, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, recognizing its great cultural, historical and architectural value.

On the way back to Bussolengo, you can enjoy the scenery cycling through Sommacampagna.

Day 3: Bussolengo – Salo 55 km

Today will take you to the shores of Lake Garda, near Peschiera.

You will enjoy Desenzano, Padenghe and Moniga. Although the main destination will be Salò, located in the western bay of Lago di Garda.

In the town we recommend a stroll through its narrow streets and the port of Lungolago. But do not forget to have an ice cream in the thousands of ice cream parlors in Salò.

Day 4: Salo – Limone 30 km

The third stage begins with a leisurely ride to Gargnano, where you will take a ferry (included) to Limone.

Pedaling along the floating bike path that runs along the lake, just 50 meters from the water, will be an experience.

Limone is a charming town known for its lemon groves, as well as olive oil and of course, for its views of the Lombardy shore of Lake Garda. Between Lago di Garda and the mountains you will be able to relax and recharge your batteries for the next stages.

Day 5: Limone – Malcesine 20-60 km

In this new stage you will cycle through two of the most famous towns of Lago di Garda, Torbole and Riva di Garda. In this area of Lake Garda, the northern part, water sports are very popular, as well as cycling and mountaineering. Finally, on the east side you will reach Malcesine at the foot of Monte Valdo.

On the east side of the lake you will finally reach Malcesine at the foot of Monte Baldo. Option of shortcut by boat across the lake (Ticket for 1 boat trip on this day incl.).

Day 6: Malcesine: Monte Baldo – Garda 45 km

Today, the stage will be different. First of all, we will take a transfer to the start of the route, about 1700m from Monte Baldo.

On a mountain road you will be pedaling with incredible views. It is the highest peak of the Pre-Alps and its flora and fauna are spectacular. Descending by bike you will reach more Mediterranean regions until finally arriving at the final destination, Garda.

Our last stage of the trip will take us along the lake to Bardolino and Lazise. In both municipalities you can stop to visit the port of Bardolino or the castle of Lazise, or its narrow streets and historic centers.
