Day 1: Arrival at Biar
Biar, a town that was very important some centuries ago. That is what its 12th century castle transmits us, witness of numerous historical episodes, and a must visit. You can stroll through its narrow streets and discover on your own its many churches and buildings of interest. This town is a good place to start your cycling trip through Valencia.
Day 2: Biar-Bocairent 24-32-46km
Today we start the bike tour from Biar. We start pedaling through olive plantations on a flat terrain that leads us to Banyeres de Mariola. There we will take a gravel track to enter completely in the Natural Park of the Sierra de Mariola. We can make a picnic next to the river that accompanies us as we move along with different types of fruit trees. After returning to the road we will head towards the imposing medieval village of Bocairent, where we will spend the night. We can not miss its old town. Day 3: Bocairent – Fontanars 21-34km
After a good breakfast, we will start pedaling towards Ontiyent, a town with a historic architectural center worth visiting. We will start along the Greenway to La Valleta d’ Agres, which begins at the gates of our hotel and we will pedal through a perfect landscape to relax: fruit trees, farmland and the Sierra de Mariola. We will pass through the villages of Alfafara and Agres, with a special charm to enter a sea of fruit trees of all kinds. Prepare your sense of smell to identify the fruits! Then we will go down between two stone walls following the curve of the estuary until we reach the Pou Clar, where we can swim and relax after the stage. Day 4: Circular route Fontanars 28-44km
We will start pedaling downhill on a peaceful road through corn fields, olive groves and vineyards. We will pass by some buildings in total harmony with the landscape as we approach Fontanars dels Alforins. Here we will visit a manor house that formerly belonged to a nobleman. Day 5: Fontanars-Xativa 44km
We will start the day cycling through fertile plantations of almond, olive and apricot trees next to fields full of persimmon and ancient vineyards. We will pass through Albaida with its imposing fortified palace guarding its historic center. We will also see small villages until we reach the surroundings of Bellús. It is an area of high ecological value, and we will be able to see old mills, azuts as well as different infrastructures for irrigation. We can take a dip in the river Albaida in summer, before heading to Xativa and its imposing castle. Points of interest: Albaida River
Day 6: Xativa-Cullera 55km
We start from the city of Xativa to enter fully into lands full of orange trees that will accompany us to Valencia. We will cross kilometers surrounded by orange trees, with their green and orange color while pedaling on roads with almost no traffic. We will crown the port of Barx, where we can recover from the effort by having lunch, to continue along a pilgrimage road that connects different monasteries, where we will have the opportunity to explore the impressive monastery of Simat de la Valldigna. The orange groves end and the immense rice fields appear, where we will reach Cullera. A coastal town with beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea where we can taste the typical rice dishes of the area. We will be able to enjoy its beaches all year round. Day 7: Cullera-Valencia 46-56km
Last day of the route! We will pedal along the Xúquer river, which is responsible for giving life to so many orchards and fields, passing through two small villages (Fortaleny and Riola) that retain the essence of the villages of yesteryear. We will go back into the Albufera Natural Park, where once we arrive at Palmar, a traditional fishing village, where we will enjoy a nice typical Valencian paella. Later we will arrive in Valencia through the unspoiled beaches of the Natural Park. There, where we can visit its interesting old town with its cathedral, central market and a network of narrow streets where a variety of cafes and restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine. Day 8: End of the trip in Valencia

I am only one person, can I still book?
Yes, you can book as a single traveler.
Is it possible to rent a bike?
Yes, this trip can be done with either your bike or ours. You can choose it during the booking process, hybrid or electric mountain bikes are available.
Is the daily luggage transfer between accommodations included?
Yes, every day we will take your luggage to the next hotel. You only have to leave it at the reception desk, and we will take care of everything. Normally it will already be at the hotel when you arrive.
Is it possible to cancel?
We want to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, in case of unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to change the dates of the trip free of charge so that you can travel within the same year, as long as you let us know at least 3 weeks in advance.
And if your plans change and you want to cancel the trip before the start date, the following handling fees will apply:
– with more than 30 days, the management fees will be 20% of the amount of the trip.
– between 30 and 15 days, the handling fee will be 50% of the amount of the trip.
– with less than 14 days, the amount to be paid will be 100% of the amount of the trip.
In order to have more flexibility, we recommend taking out travel, assistance, CR and cancellation insurance. Check with us the conditions. Please note that the price of the insurance is not refunded once contracted in case of cancellation or modification.
Are there roads?
Practically the entire trip is on Vias Verdes, tracks or asphalt roads. If you make the stage to Valencia, there are a few kilometers of link that are made by road where you should drive with caution.
